Mountain Sounds started with a walk around Keswick, looking for a Lake District themed T-shirt for my nephew. I couldn't find one and so I decided to have a go at creating my own. Such simple statement, but this has been a journey and an adventure. I have learnt so much about design (read more about this in the Creative Process page), building websites and setting up a small business. It has been both frustrating and satisfying in equal measure, but above all rewarding.

I am starting small with some of my favourite fells and views. My aspirations are endless, there are so many I would like to create and I hope to add many more. Keep an eye on the New Arrivals and Coming Soon pages and we will see where this thing goes.  

So why have I named this venture Mountain Sounds? Well it is for all the days in the Lakes when I have been able to get away from the anxieties of modern life. It was a joy to be out in the hills, to shut out the negative voices and to be able to listen to the wind and rain, the waterfalls and wildlife.
